Hook Farm Online Booking

We are now taking bookings for 2023. We are a quiet family owned park located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The park is walking distance to the historic town of Lyme Regis.

  • WE DON’T ACCEPT GROUPS ON OUR SITE WHICH IS MORE THAN 4 ADULTS WHO KNOW EACH OTHER.
  • NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OR SIGN WRITTEN VANS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PARK.
  • NO GAZEBOS OR EVENT SHELTERS.
  • PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR LATEST ARRIVAL TIMES.
  • THERE IS NO PARKING ON SITE BEFORE 1.OOPM ON ARRIVAL DAY.
  • DEPARTURE TIME IS BY 10:30AM FOR CAMPING.

Opening Dates

Our park opens from mid March to the end of October.

Arrival and Departure

From 1st March to 30th April and from 5th September to 1st November you are welcome to arrive anytime from 1pm to 6pm for camping and for static caravans between 3pm and 6pm.
From 1st May to 27th May you are welcome to arrive from 1pm to 7pm for camping and for static caravans, shepherd's huts and bell tents between 3pm and 7pm
From 28th May until 31st August you are welcome to arrive from 1pm to 8pm for camping and for static caravans, shepherd's huts and bell tents between 3pm and 8pm.
Departure is by 10:30am for camping and 10am for static caravans, shepherd's huts and bell tents.

Bookings

Please book online using the panel on the side of this page being careful to request the correct touring type and size as this will be used by the system to allocate you a pitch and we will only be able to accept the details of the unit that you have entered.

  • Only one pitch can be booked online (max 4 adults per pitch)
  • Please call us if you would like to book 2 pitches.
  • We are a quiet campsite and not accept groups if it is apparent at the time of arrival that you are part of a group you will not be granted access to Hook Farm.
  • During the peak times we reserve several pitches for customers wishing to stay for longer stays.

Touring Bookings

  • Pitches are available for tents, campervans and motorhomes. Please state the type and size of the unit you are bringing.
  • Due to the nature of our site we cannot accept motorhomes over 6.85 metres long.
  • We are unable to accept bookings for tents over 7m (including awning and guy ropes).
  • Electricity is supplied to over half of our pitches and is included in the cost of our serviced pitches. The supply is rated at 10 amps and is only suitable for camping rated items, lights and phone chargers which means any domestic rated items such as heaters, kettles, cookers and slow cookers will trip the fuse.
  • We do not allow event shelters at any time or open sided gazebos.
  • Only one motorised vehicle is permitted per pitch and as we have limited additional on-site parking any additional vehicle will need to be requested at the time of booking.
  • We do not have parking available for visitors at any time.

Price

  • The price is for up to 2 people one of which must be over 18years old, and one unit such as a tent, campervan or motorhome.
  • Any additional vehicle to a campervan or motorhome is an extra and needs to be reserved prior to arrival (subject to availability).
  • Full payment is required 28 days before arrival. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required for a touring pitch and £100 for a static caravan. For stays where the cost of the visit is less than the minimum booking then full payment is required at time of booking.
  • We charge for:
    • Additional adults
    • Children over the age of 5 years
    • Pup tents

Hook Farm Location and Facilities

  • On site there are 2 shower and toilet blocks providing hot showers (note a small charge is made) and washing up facilities.
  • There is both a grey wastewater and chemical toilet disposal point on site.
  • There is a small children’s play area for children up to 10 years old.
  • A well-stocked site shop in the reception block
  • Site Wi-Fi provided by Club WIFI on a per device and length of use basis
  • Hook Farm is a quiet campsite set on the Devon/Dorset border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It provides the perfect location for exploring the breath-taking World Heritage Jurassic Coast
  • We are set in a peaceful location on the edge of Uplyme which is a small village located 1 mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis, which offers a wide range of activities and events throughout the year, in addition to the wonderful beaches.
  • The camping site at Hook Farm encompasses over 5 acres and 100 camping/campervan/motorhome pitches on a terraced sloping site.
  • Its location makes it perfect to enjoy many local walks including the South West Coast Path and the East Devon Way.
  • There is a wonderful river sidewalk from the campsite down to Lyme Regis
  • For foodies we are based near to the famous River Cottage HQ as well as a good number of excellent pubs and restaurants.
  • In the village of Uplyme, a short work from the campsite, is the Uplyme Stores which is open 7 days a week and the Talbot Arms pub which offers a warm family friendly atmosphere with home cooked food and local real ales and provides a true taste of rural hospitality.
