Opening Dates

The park is open from mid-March until late October Please see the home page of our website for the actual dates for each season.

Arrival and Departure

From 1st March to 30th April and from 6th September to 1st November you are welcome to arrive anytime from 1pm to 6pm for camping and for static caravans between 3pm and 6pm.
From 28th May until 31st August you are welcome to arrive from 1pm to 8pm for camping and for static caravans between 3pm and 8pm.

Departure is by 10:30am for camping and 10am for static caravans.


Please book online using the panel on the side of this page being careful to request the correct touring type and size as this will be used by the system to allocate you a pitch and we will only be able to accept the details of the unit that you have entered.

  • We take bookings via our on-line booking system if you are unable to book on line or have additional questions please call our bookings helpline on 01297 442801. We do not accept booking requests via emails.
  • Only one pitch can be booked online (max 4 adults per pitch)
  • Please call us if you would like to book 2 pitches.
  • We are a quiet campsite and not accept groups if it is apparent at the time of arrival that you are part of a group you might not be granted access to Hook Farm.
  • Minimum of 3 nights at Bank Holidays and 2 nights in peak season can be booked. Some 2 night pitches are available in peak season and we strongly recommend you book these early.
  • During the peak times we reserve a number of pitches for customers wishing to stay for longer stays.
  • We can only take bookings for touring caravans, trailer tents and folding caravans over the phone. Please have the dimensions of your unit for when you book.

Touring Bookings

  • Pitches are available for tents, campervans and motorhomes. Please state the type and size of the unit you are bringing. Due to the nature of our site we cannot accept motorhomes over 7 metres long.
  • Electricity is supplied to over half of our pitches and is included in the cost of our serviced pitches. The supply is rated at 10 amps and is only suitable for camping rated items, lights and phone chargers which means any domestic rated items such as heaters, kettles, cookers and slow cookers will trip the fuse.
  • We do not allow event shelters at any time or open sided gazebos during peak season. Small (upto3m x 3m) open sided gazebos without a ground sheet can be booked out of peak season
  • Only one motorised vehicle is permitted per pitch and as we have limited additional on-site parking any additional vehicle will need to be requested at the time of booking
  • We do not have parking available for visitors at anytime.
  • We have limited space to park trailers and small boats please ring for availability at the time of booking
  • If you have a Tent larger than 7m in Length, please contact us for availability.


  • The price is for up to 2 people one of which must be over 18years old, and one unit such as a tent, campervan or motorhome.
  • Any additional vehicle to a campervan or motorhome is an extra and needs to be reserved prior to arrival
  • Full payment is required 28 days before arrival. A deposit of £50 is required for a touring pitch and £100 for a static caravan. For stays where the cost of the visit is less than the minimum booking then full payment is required at time of booking.
  • We charge for:
    • Additional adults
    • Children over the age of 5 years
    • Pup tents
    • Open sided gazebos up to 3m x 3m

Hook Farm Location and Facilities

  • On site there are 2 shower and toilet blocks providing hot showers (note a small charge is made) and washing up facilities.
  • There is both a grey waste water and chemical toilet disposal point on site.
  • There is a small children’s play area for children up to 10 years old.
  • A well stocked site shop in the reception block
  • Site WiFi provided by ClubWifi on a per device and length of use basis
  • Hook Farm is a quiet campsite set on the Devon/Dorset border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It provides the perfect location for exploring the breath taking World Heritage Jurassic Coast
  • We are set in a peaceful location on the edge of Uplyme which is a small village located 1 mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis, which offers a wide range of activities and events throughout the year, in addition to the wonderful beaches.
  • The camping site at Hook Farm emcompasses over 5 acres and 100 camping/campervan/motorhome pitches on a terraced sloping site.
  • Its location makes it perfect to enjoy many local walks including the South West Coast Path and the East Devon Way.
  • There is a wonderful river side walk from the campsite down to Lyme Regis
  • For foodies we are based near to the famous River Cottage HQ as well as a good number of excellent pubs and restaurants.
  • In the village of Uplyme, a short work from the campsite, is the Uplyme Stores which is open 7 days a week and the Talbot Arms pub which offers a warm family friendly atmosphere with home cooked food and local real ales and provides a true taste of rural hospitality.
